Construction science professor Amir Behzadan is a co-principal investigator in a Texas A&M-led, $500K National Science Foundation project to create a personalized job interview training system for veterans, who often face biases and misconceptions when looking for civilian jobs.

The study, which will rely on artificial intelligence and data analytics, will also promote veterans’ workplace strengths to potential employers.

Other members of the team are principal investigator Theodora Chaspari, assistant professor of computer science and engineering, Winfred Arthur Jr., professor of psychology, and researchers from the University of Florida and the University of Pennsylvania.
